South Carolina will look to bring in a limited number of defensive tackles this season due to depth on campus, but it is after some highly-touted players.

    • Why would they want to go to Clemsux and get dominated by our Oline for 4 years? I don't think Carolina should be at the top of every big time recruits list but how the clemmers are in it with so many good players amazes me.

    • i really want Thrill Hill..........and be nice to still Griffin out of GA....

    • Hill and Griffin would be a solid class.

I'm looking forward to Botkin getting us in the game with Adams.

BC no player thinks they'll get dominated by anyone. Why would you want a kid at USC that actually thought he could be dominated?

It's really not that hard. Dabo can sell. He can recruit. AND he just won an ACC title to dangle in fron tof kids.

Woogie, Boogie! That joke is funnier now than it was on the orange bowl night.

    • Don't hold your breath on Griffin. My brother talked to him and got the feeling Griffin wasn't too into South Carolina. Said he talked to some people that are good friends with Kelsey and that he wants to stay close to home. Think UGA is the favorite and team to beat.

Winning the acc doesn't seem like such a carrot to dangle unless you really want to play in the acc. Think about it, what did winning the acc get clemson this past season... they got blown out by their rival and absolutely run off the road by a Mack Truck coming out of West Va. If that's the best the acc champs can do....pffffftt.

Va. Tech hasn't done so hot in the BCS in the past decade either. Hmmmm.... go acc??? Bwah ha ha ha....

I think it's really only a major factor with folks like you and I, who log on to websites regularly and discuss the ACC and its pitfalls/weaknesses/lack of winning. However, it doesn't appear to be that big of a deal to all recruits. Consider that FSU regularly lands highly rated players, UNC had some success(granted Black Santa helped there, but they still got the players), Miami has landed their fair share. Clemson has played in 2 straight ACCCGs and a BCS game. Wouldn't you think their coaches are accentuating the positives - that they played in those games and won a conference champtionship? I mean, honestly, I watched most of the bowl games, but the only 3 I can really tell you much about are USCs game, CUs game and the UW/Baylor game. I can tell you who won most of them, but I'd be hard pressed to give you scores or details. The only reason I know CUs game is bc of how much I enjoyed every moment of it. HS players, unless CU or USC fans likely didn't pay much attention, nor did they likely weigh that game as a standard bearer. Just like they didn't after we got owned by UConn.
