South Carolina will play a night game in its final game of the regular season. The Gamecocks meet archrival Clemson on Saturday, November 24 at 7 p.m. on ESPN or ESPN2, it was announced on Monday.
The Gamecocks (8-2, 6-2) still have a hurdle to clear this weekend against Wofford (1 p.m., pay-per-view) but it will look to close out the season with its fourth straight victory over their in-state rival at Memorial Stadium.
The last and only time that South Carolina had a four-game winning streak in the rivalry was from 1951-55. Clemson last won four straight from the 2002-05 seasons.
The senior class will look to cap off a perfect 4-0 record against the Tigers. Last week, the group set a new school record for wins in a four-year period with 35. With a three-game winning streak to close the season, the class would finish with 38 wins, good for an average of 9.5 per season.
The Gamecocks return to the practice field tonight at 7 p.m. Head coach Steve Spurrier will speak to the media on Tuesday at noon during his weekly press conference. South Carolina hosts Wofford this Saturday at 1 p.m. and will celebrate Senior Day and Armed Forces Day.
