The South Carolina defense held Georgia to 224 yards of total offense. Georgia entered the game leading the Southeastern Conference averaging 536.0 yards per game.

In front of a record crowd of 85,199, the Gamecocks pummeled their Eastern Division rivals 35-7 to keep its record perfect.

I dunno, Connor shaw, he of the 262 passer rating and 78 rushing and 3 td(1 rushing), might have some claim to player of the game.

I agree with literally everything you said here. I can't state how important it was for Byrd to come down with that ball. It could have been a completely different game if the Dawgs had intercepted the first pass of the game. Changed everything, and now we're off to Baton Rouge after one of the most satisfying wins of my life.

We used to have big, strong receiver (AJ) to win those jump balls. Now we have small, strong receiver to win the jump balls!

You mean bite-less Dawgs. They always have plenty of bark. That's why our players kept pointing to their sideline after 3rd downs and telling them to "go sit, dawgie", as they were barking at our players.

u mean jarvis jones wasn't the player of the game for uga? the consensus #1 overall pick in the draft? how many tackles did he have anyway? I don't remember his name being called much.

Sports Illustrated called him the "best defensive player in the SEC" this week. I don't think so.
