Drew Barker enjoyed his visit to South Carolina.

If it wasn't already clear to class of 2014 four-star QB Drew Barker just how much the Gamecocks wanted him, the Gamecocks coaching staff made it well known over the weekend.

Great news, sounds like we have a good shot at another good QB. Wish he played against better opposition cause it's a bit difficult to evaluate him on film.

JMO, but he will be a Gamecock unless Ohio State offers. If Meyer gets in the mix he will go to OSU

Is he an early enrollee candidate? He says he is committing at the end of the year so I was wondering, it sounds like he will be done early

It sounds as though progress was made & we are in great shape at this time. My biggest worry all along has been Meyer & Ohio St. He just seems to be able to get whom ever he wants. Is it known what other Q.B's Ohio St. is recruiting besides Drew Barker, & if they rank ahead of him?

Yes, that's the QB that they promised the would not recruit a QB in this class if he committed. Could be hurting if he doesn't work out.
