Senior LB Dantzler was 4-for-5 with a home run and a career high five RBIs in South Carolina's 8-3 win over Albany on Saturday afternoon at Carolina Stadium
While it was far from a perfect day for baseball, South Carolina played through cold and wet conditions to knock off Albany 8-3 in the first game of the series.

only a few pitchers throw a heavy ball. I can best explain it this way. It feels about 3 times heavier and harder than a regular throw. I have caught guys that say throw 88. The few guys that throw a heavy ball, their 88 feels much harder and about three times heavier than a regular guy when it hits your mitt.. It is really weird. In all the years I played I only played with one truly heavy ball pitcher. When you have one of those guys it is a real plus.
