Jordan Berry following his team's loss in the state championship game.

Ask around and no one really seems to have any idea why wide receiver Jordan Berry (Irmo/Dutch Fork) doesn't have any offers. Berry was one of the state's best receivers.

I have seen this kid live, and I think we should add him to the team one way or another. I'm astonished that ECU, or NCSU has not offered him. I hope he ends up a Gamecock. He and Whitehurst would make the best duo of walk-on WR's in the country. I would be all for offering him a scholarship, and hope it ends up happening. I think Jr will work something out.

Seems like he would be a great replacement for Bruce and Ace after they leave next year.

saw him play earlier this year. playmaker. not elite or great, but made plays and had a nice burst. if he walks on it will be a big plus though

The kid produces and with some of the guys we've added I think Berry has just as much upside if not more. 129 catches on the 4A leve is outstanding. I say offer him. I could think of at least three recruits I wouldn't have offered.

One of his coaches lives in my neighborhood and he told me 2 months ago that he was shocked that he had not received a D-1 offer.
