I just get the felling that he is saying what we want to hear. Remember when Irons went to Auburn from Holtz? He did a fine job outside of his off-handed comments. In a nutshell...I dont want to lose this kid. Go Cocks!!

It is so refreshing to see us recruiting guys with such a high caliber attitude instead of the cocky star attitudes we see others going after (think Auburn, clemson, Ga)

Not saying that he doesn't want to play, but sounds like if the coaches wanted him to RS, he would be ok with that. Seems like he won't turn into a head case like some of the prima donna RB's around the league. He's going to be patient for his time to come.

This. You know our program is in great position when we have a player as good as this that we have a great chance to redshirt. In the past this kid would have been 1st team the second he stepped on campus.

Now that we have the luxury to reload year in year out, I no longer believe we should redshirt kids like Davis. If needs be, we should find a spot for him on ST.

This lets us know how truly special Marcus Lattimore really is. Davis is finding the touches hard to come by. He also might not understand how close he is to being the starter.

Don't think this is an Irons situation, he sees a Heisman candidate and senior in front. If he plays it will be limited touches. Next year things in his view open up for him and Wilds to battle for the 1 spot. Sorry, but I think Carson still needs to recover his quickness before we throw him in the mix.
