    • With Hall very much a question mark right now, I don't see how we turn down Page if he wants to come to USC. Really, whether we get Hall in or not, we probably should take Page.

    • WG, does Thornwell have a leader at this point.

    • I hate to get all hyped up so early in the Martin era, but the truth is that landing Dickerson would be huge for this program, whether he's a great basketball player or not. It would send a message all over the country that we are a viable program ready to compete with the Big East for recruits. We can only sit back and hope.

Thanks for the update, WG. I hope you're right about Troy Williams.

    • WG, you mentioned Shelton Mitchell's name a month or so ago...I was curious how we are looking with him and if we are still persuing him? As you well know, the kid has great vision and can really handle a team and he is seemingly in a glaring spot of need, the PG position...

Also, is it 12 or 13 active scholarships each year?

We are talking about a guy outside the top 200 whose big east offer is providence.

While to me it is encouraging how much pull Martin seems to have in NYC, there are not going to be any reverberations from this signing class.

First opportunity to make a recruiting splash is next season.

It's a very public recruiting battle and St Johns and Auburn are also likely to be included in addition to Providence. Remember, interest in Dickerson peaked after he qualified. It's a statement if we win this battle.
