Abbeville's a big area but it's mostly farm area and not highly populated, thus the 1A status.

My comment in Spurnotes wasn't intended to throw cold water. I never said it was a poor offer or not a smart move. But I did give my opinion that I was surprised USC offered him this early.

Furthermore, what did you want me to do, misquote the kid or fabricate quotes? I mean, when you first introduce a kid from the state, don't you want to know if he has a preference, USC or Clemson?

I've seen this kid play, he's definately faster than a 4.7, although after watching him run an option offense and not much pass, I'm somewhat skeptical as to whether or not he will be playing QB in college oneday, awesome basketball player though.
