Those are all valid points. My main concern is the closer role. If someone will step up there I think we will be fine.
But the points in your article about how hard it is to get to Omaha no matter how good you are are true. Some people don't realize just how tough that is.

#5 is the biggest unknown IMO. I like Coach Holbrook and think he deserves this shot, but there is no coach in America that knows how to push the right buttons like Coach Tanner. He was amazing at doing that.
I think Coach Holbrook may be a better evaluater and recruiter of talent. Hopefully he makes up for it there and pushes enough correct buttons to get us there.

Great article. If you want to know how difficult it is to make it to Omaha, just look how long it took Ray Tanner to make it there.
The good thing is that we have great coaches, a great program, and a great home to host the regionals, all of which gives us an advantage. Our recruiting has been excellent and I think Holbrook will continue the tradition.
