      Hmm Shaq at Spur

Is that really a possibility? Not giving up on Brison, but could be a way to get our best players on the field .... Devonte back to safety etc

Good Question. if Brison makes plays like last game (or lack of) that might just happen but I think Brison will do a better job this week and Holloman can stay at his natural position.

    • Brison played a pretty good game aside from that one play. Ya'll are pretty tough; one mistake and your replaced. Brison was in position and made plays in the run and passing game all night besides that one play. He's a good safety, and is not going to be replaced this year.

Shaq is fine where he is, also. He doesn't have the speed to play much Spur, imo. He is so smart and quick to diagnose, he makes up for any speed he lacks, though.

Cmon Steve. Could you at least try and read what other people write before jumping to conclusions?

Please explain to me how you read our statements and interpreted it as us saying to replace Brison for making one mistake.

      Seriously dude.

    • How else is someone supposed to take your comment when you said, "move Devonte back to safety"? Unless you are proposing to bench Swearinger, which I doubt, that means that you are (in fact) ready to give up on BW, bench him, and replace him. First game and one mistake. You do know that some of our first round picks last year actually made some mistakes too.

By taking the sentence in its full context.

"Is that really a possibility? Not giving up on Brison, but could be a way to get our best players on the field .... Devonte back to safety etc"

I think a fair-minded observer would agree that there is nothing reactionary or unfair about that statement.

Your statement on the other hand ...........

On the original note: Bowens, Jeffery, and Wilson - Swearinger, Holloman does sound interesting. It'd be 5 seniors on the field. Would presumably allow Cooper (and Q.Smith) to get on the field more too. The big questions are could Shaq play Spur effectively enough and how it would impact our team speed on D.

The possibility never crossed my mind until the article. OBVIOUSLY its too soon to start shaking everything up; but I wonder if that lineup is something the coaches have considered, and if they have, why they didn't pursue it.
