The old Carolina Coliseum still has its magic. Playing its first game in the old arena since 2002, South Carolina defeated LSU, 66-59, Thursday night in SEC action.
USC senior guard Ieasia Walker rose to the occasion and scored a game-high 24 points and 5 assists to pace the Gamecocks to their third conference victory.
Aleighsa Welch had 14 points and Ashley Bruner provided 13 in the win.
South Carolina (15-3, 3-2) travels to Florida on Sunday. The Gamecocks return home next Thursday for a key SEC game against Kentucky (17-1, 5-0).
