The South Carolina Gamecocks were stunned by Elon for the second straight season in a 65-53 loss Wednesday night at Colonial Life Arena.
The Gamecocks were plagued by 22 turnovers despite Lakeem Jackson's team-high 14 points and 10 rebounds on the night.
South Carolina (3-1) will travel to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a two-day tournament this weekend. USC will face Missouri State on Saturday and either Southern Methodist or Arkansas-Little Rock on Sunday.
