Gamecocks commitment Shaq Davidson had a huge night Friday.

-- Class of 2014 four-star wide receiver commitment Shaq Davidson (Gaffney/Gaffney), while playing quarterback, had 313 yards passing and 174 yards rushing for 487 total yards in Gaffney's 59-54 victory over Boiling Springs.

-- Class of 2014 three-star wide receiver commitment Terry Googer's Woodward Academy team defeated four-star linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams' Cedar Grove team 17-14. Allen-Williams had a forced fumble. The two friends will visit South Carolina Saturday.

-- Class of 2015 four-star running back Bryce Love (Raleigh, N.C./Wake Forest-Rolesville) had a 51-yard touchdown run in Wake Forest's 14-10 loss to Sanderson.

-- Class of 2014 three-star cornerback commitment Al Harris Jr. (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) has a torn hamstring and is likely out for the season according to his head coach.

-- Class of 2014 three-star tight end/defensive end commitment Kalan Ritchie (Goose Creek/Goose Creek) did not play this week after spraining his ankle last week.
