911 call

  • ......
Dispatcher: OK, well then if you get anybody, any stranger that happens to walk by that's willing to help. I understand if your boss is telling you can't do it. But if there's any human being. ... Is there anyone that's willing to help this lady and not let her die?

Caller: Um, not at this time.....

How can anyone with a conscious, especially anyone who is a health care provider work at a facility with a protocol in place that does not allow for the administration of basic CPR? According to the report the company policy is to call 911 and stay with the patient until help arrives.

There is something terribly wrong here.

  • it appears the family of the woman is okay with it, the lady had, apparently, a dnr view of things

so, it appears to have worked out. besides, when we get our death panels we will kill the stragglers earlier on anyway.

i am queuing up now for my day on the table

There is a far cry difference between a DNR view of things and a health care
"professional" citing the company line as a reason not to provide assistance and allowing a fellow human being to die.

No CPR? Company policy? I'm rather skeptical ... It's so easy even children can do it ...

And as I''m sure you recall, the 911 operator offered to instruct anyone willing on how to do CPR.

This really is a Kitty Genovese moment. Makes me embarrassed to be a human.
