I apologize for anything offensive or cruel that I have said in the past. I have a very serious life so I used this board as an outlet to act like a fool. I had an epiphany that this may not be the time and place for wacky, dry humor. I want to apologize to any user that has been hurt by, or offended at my weak, impotent attempts at humor. I am truly sorry. Though I may not be the object of the board's ire at this moment, I grasp the magnitude of how irresponsible internet usage can be hurtful, and I wish to have no part in this. I will still try to illicit a smile in those with weird senses of humor, but I have stopped all of the floodcock mama jokes. Especially the one where I said....wait, I digress. I promised myself I wouldn't go there any more. If you feel like you too have been a clown d--k one too many times, please feel free to +1 me. I know four of you that need to reply to this.

I believe in having fun and enjoying life too, just as much as anyone else. But I also take one thing in life very seriously...and that is character. A man can have good character and still have a good time in life. There are too many here who seem to have very little character and enjoy having a good time at others expense. In real life, they might just act like real men face to face, but on here, they act like spoiled little brats who need to be taken out behind the wood shed and shown what a good old spanking really is.

Sounds like he might mean what he says. When a person apologizes, is it better to cut him down for it, or to accept the apology and watch to see if his actions prove his words?
The way some of you are attacking him, you are acting worse than you seem to think he did.
Be adults for once on this board, accept the apology, and if he doesn't live up to his word, then call him on the carpet for it.

Maybe it's just me but I can't find a vitriolic or caustc word at all from you. Your threads are meticulously woven with wit and humor and with the possible exception of the occasional quip from Oliver, "Please sir, I want some more" and pleas of "Brother can you spare an upvote?" are relatively unobtrusive, innocuous and benign.
That you would desire to apologize - I'm curious - how serious of a life do you have and does it include white linen table coverings and serviettes with an after dinner Courvoisier and a hand carved meerschaum pipe? If so, perhaps I could join you for a Chateaubriand served with a nice Béarnaise sauce?
Now on the other hand if you had a writing style reminisiant of ABC I would probably agree.
