the other girl mckenzie phillips...what more do you have to say? i found her to be offputting when this was on tv..she never looked healthy & she wasnt.

the macho building super was quite the popular character for the time, think of the village people but hetero on steroids.

not a great show, but given you only had three real options back then, you took what you could get

much too young to die at 69 but pancreatic cancer dont play any favorites

i am turning 65 oh my. the end is near & all that stuff

the advantages of today are never to be underestimated

however, let me wax nostalgic about something i thought of today while pondering. when i was a kid i looked forward to the sunday newspaper because it had everything a kid my age in the south would want on a sunday....the box scores from the baseball games the prior day....as well as....ta da....the listing of every batting average of every player in the major leagues...from the guys batting .370 down to the poor smucks at .130

many fewer teams less platooning= fewer guys to keep up with. i could be conversant with the batting averages of every guy on every team

now, i know i can still get that, but, the sunday newspaper has just lost its appeal. sports then news & opinion. it all went to hades unavoidably

valerie b. was most definitely one of the best looking things on tv during those days, it goes without saying. mckenzie...geez...the idea of her gives me the prospect of bad dreams.

and if you wanted to change one of those 3 channels you had to get up off of your ass and walk to the tv.

yes, marie osmond has aged well. especially since she lost all that blubber.

i just have a problem with those osmonds. always hated those f'ers....what else up with people to make me listen to waspish gosh awful cheerful music?
