i grew up on a tobacco farm. everybody i ever knew smoked, but somehow i revolted. when working in that crap as a boy, had the job of hoisting up the strung up racks of tobacco to be hung in the barn. you constantly, i mean all day long constant, carry one stick after another into the barn, stick it up to the person climbing the interior of the barn like a spider.
when it rains you keep working, so sticking the sticks dripping into my face all day long tobacco juice into my eyes nose all day
i soured on the stuff for some reason. but, those were the days and we had no beavers. did have some pole cats that howled at night but no beavers to skin
