  • Legendary Athletes Unite to Help Greenville's Youth

Greenville, SC – Legendary USC and Clemson University football players Marcus Lattimore and Woodrow “Woody” Dantzler are helping to raise funds for The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greenville County on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the True Grit Fundraiser Dinner. The event, hosted by Everett Sports Marketing, will be held at The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center at 6:15 pm. Both athletes will participate in football camps earlier that day also at the Kroc Center. Tickets are $85 for dinner and program or $125 for private meet & greet, autographs, dinner and program. Tickets may be purchased at www.everettsm.com or by calling 864-350-1222. All event proceeds will be donated to The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club. For $3,000 six guests can sit with Lattimore during the dinner and program, attend the private meet & greet with a photo opportunity, and receive six autographed full size footballs as well as prominent recognition at the event.

Marcus Lattimore will serve as the event’s special guest speaker and shares, "It’s going to be great to come back to my home town after being in Pensacola Beach training for the last few months. It means a lot to me to be involved in such a great event, especially for such a great cause and with an outstanding organization like Boys and Girls Club. Anytime I have the opportunity to inspire our youth and make a difference in someone's life, I do my best to embrace it.”
