having been around since the blessed worldwide event was birthed, honestly, who needs a full day of yapping about a freaking football game?
unless it was carolina for the national title, then i might be ok, but even that would be over the top. from the halftime extravaganas that usually turn out to be boooooorrrinnngg...or contrived controversy...
i think i am going to see what old movies are on tcm. all this talk hype makes me sick. i dont care if ray lewis shoved antler horns up his butt...he probably cried...waaa....all we need is tim tebow to pray.
I usually watch the pre-game hype surrounding the puppy bowl. Is there a football game this weekend or something?
You may run like Hayes, but you hit like $*!#
Puppy Bowl rules.
Early 70's, the Cowboys were in the Super Bowl and a reporter asked Duane Thomas why he didn't seem more excited, saying "it's the ultimate game!" Thomas replied, "if it's the ultimate game, why are they going to play it again next year?"
i am sorry. i think i sank to the lowest when i typed this earlier today. yes, there is the puppy bowl
about a week ago my brother went into icu. he is out now, i thought we had lost the old guy. its been a pretty emotional time. in addition my wife came down with some gosh awful bug & is just now beginning to bounce back. i turn 65 soon, frankly its all overwhelming
i had a pretty interesting time when i turned 50. i am not quite as capable of frolic & trouble as i was then but i dread to think the vissicitudes that await
i never had a convertible. i joked with my wife about getting a motorcycle. she was not amused. story of my life
if i manage to get past 65 without doing irreparable harm to myself or get kicked out by my old lady....well, we will see...but another football season cannot come soon enough to me. to prove i am still alive. perhaps another game with my brother.
he took me to my first carolina game in 1963 tossing his student id to me after going in...the old one level bowl made it possible....different times to say the least
everything is blown out of proportion now my dear man.

you have a point there. i am a 20th century creature, unlike most of you
sunday i will make every effort to plow through a bio of teddy roosevelts political career.
The hype needs to end ... as we can plainly see by this video - the game was already played ... game over !
