I've never really described a guitar as hot, but sure, I can see it.

Well of course you can, don't be ridiculous...long neck, all the right curves in just the right places, wound a little tight every once in a while....strumming it softly with your pick while fingering it with just the right amount of pressure...guitar hot doesn't get any better than this....

To quote the late Ricky Nelson,

"You see you can't please everyone so you got to please yourself"

I was going to post a pic of debbie wasserman as a "hot or not so much" but I didn't want to be accused of being partisan so I'll just stick to the the Nelson Rule.

To reference "Forrest Gump":

"Somebody get that girl a harmonica!"

While I realize the guitar is "in the background" of everyone's focus in the picture, that's a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) guitar. Unmistakable "curves" as you mention, and the bird inlays on the neck. Very cool guitars, played exclusively and most notably by Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers and Carlos Santana, among others. Very cool and yes, hot, guitar line.

The girl ain't bad at all, either!! I've seen that pic when you pull up images for that guitar brand before. I just wonder if she plays the flute and had any past incidents at band camp with it??
