The Barnyard

I'm going to go with Colorado State. Not much of a fan base here but a nice "little" stadium with a scenic backdrop and they serve beer at the football games.

The basketball team is killing it right now (#22). Their arena is small and intimate so that place can get rowdy. I will be going to the game Saturday against #16 New Mexico, should be exciting.

If I wasn't a South Carolina fan - I would root for the University of Delaware and then I would pray for a game between them and South Carolina just to hear the Blue Hen cheerleaders yelling, Go Hens - Beat those 'Cocks. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

I always pulled for Virginia Tech when I was younger because my grandfather was a Hokie and he would sometimes take me to games in Blacksburg (including a couple of USC games). I remember driving up after New Years to watch the Tech v. FSU national championship game with him in early 2000. I was pulling hard for Tech mainly because I wanted him to enjoy that moment after his wife and my grandmother had passed in the fall of 1999.

But after he died, I sort of stopped pulling for them.
