Heard nothing. I'd really have to question why he'd want to join that train wreck of a program at this point. I give Dooley one more year and he and his staff will all be looking for work. If i'm any assistant looking at that program, I'm looking for at least a three year contract.
We went through the same thing with Holtz's last staff. It was obvious that he was on the way out in a year and we had to make some long term commitments to get anyone to join up. It's all finae and dandy until you let them go and have to write a big check to pay for them.
That said, Jay Graham is as fine a running backs coach as he was a running back. It flatters us that so many programs are interested in our assistants. If he goes, we will certainly miss him.

I would definitely think that Graham or any other incoming assistant would consider the possibility of Dooley being fired after next season and incorporate that thought into their contract negotiations. I'd love to have Graham for obvious reasons but if he decided that right now isn't the best time to reunite himself with Tennessee I certainly couldn't blame him. My hope is that Dave Hart can convince Graham that he will be welcome at Tennessee in 2013 and beyond regardless of what happens to Dooley, but I understand that an agreement like that between an assistant and an AD could make hiring a new head coach more difficult so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
Congrats on a good season by the way. 10 wins is always impressive. I'll be cheering for USC in the Capital One Bowl.

i guess it does appear graham has done a good job, getting production out of a fifth string running back to get us through the season. pro potential & a good college resume, looks like he has a good future. while he has been here i have seen nothing negative about the dude at all. says the right things & gets the job done.
