  • gosh i hated music like that in the 70s. between stuff like "a horse with no name" and disco & seals & croft, i was out of tune

i was listening to boston, pink floyd, black sabbath the stones, etc. had no use for these song writers & love peace and all that crap

i did think about the 70s today...joey heatherton & those mattress commericals. now that made you want to get in bed

I agree with you Mahatma - I too preferred the heavier beat of the drum to the melodious and often melancholy killing me softly lounge tunes.

Even though I occasionally enjoyed an afternoon delight, I never cared much for the tune. Same with third rate romance although I've never really done this kind of thing before ... Have you?

I submit the post only as a mile marker...as it peels away another layer of memories from my youth and brings me much too quickly back to the reality of our (my) mortality.
