There are several parks and a zoo outside of town, a visit to the capitol is always in order. The Chop House is excellent and there's an Olive Grden. If you prefer seafood The Tidewater Grill is very nice.

A carriage ride downtown is very nice and you must try dessert at Kaminskys's on Market Street.
