There are so many great place's to eat in Greenville. Almost any place downtown is a winner.

Sassafras is good and if your coming to Gvegas..take the misses for a walk through falls park (downtown near Sassafras). Its VERY nice

I like the Lazy Goat, Trattorio Giorgio, and Soby on top of the ones listed above

My favorites are Chophouse 47 on Pelham or Nantucket's downtown.

Depends what u r looking for. If eating on the cheap, you can't beat adam's bistro on pelham. It is byob with no corkage fee.
Rick Irwins is a good steak downtown and the sister place is a seafood place called nantuckets. Both r good.
There is now a Carolina Ale house downtown which is good but a little chainey.
Just depends what u r looking for from bbq to fine dining, or both. If both go to smoke on the water.

But you cannot go wrong with High Cotton or Soby's either. Larkin's on thr river has a great steak also. It is behind the Peace Center.

I fyou are going downtown and want steak, Rick Erwins and Larkins are can't miss. Seafood, Nantucket Grill. Italian,Tratorria Giorgio, Lemongrass for Thai/Asian fusion. For a good mix of many things Sassafras, Soby's, Lazy Goat, Cazbah, Overlook Grill, and High Cotton are great. You can't can't beat the views at High Cotton, Lazy Goat, and Overlook Grill.

If you are going outside downtown, The Open Hearth if you want steak, Saskatoon if you want fish and game, Lieu's if you want Asian, and the Peddler for a variety.

Can't go wrong with any of those choices. Enjoy, and welcome to Greenville.

I agree. I have been doing a lot of traveling the last couple years for my job and I have really come to realize what a great southern City Greenville is and what it has to offer. We are a family that is five generations from Simpsonville and Ft. Inn.. Go figure.

I'm surprised that there's no love for Larkin's...the steaks are fantastic, but you should also try the shrimp and grits and bacon wrapped scallops!
