It boggles my mind that he wasn't charged in the first place. All the kid was doing was walking home minding his own business. Whatever confrontation occurred happened because Zimmerman provoked it.

I deal with this crap everyday....I come here to deal with the sports played by my favorite college program....could we not bring this here? Just asking........
By the way, the system works and would have worked here without all the total BS! Law Enforcement is damned it they do and damned if they don't. There was an ongoing investigation that had not reached it's end before the usual blow hards jumped in. But it still ain't sports related

Ok I have to address this. First you don't know what actually happened. I am sure that Zimmerman wishes he had never stopped his truck but that is why crime is so out of control, people are afraid to get involved.
On the arrest. I walk clients, black and white, out of police stations all the time after they had been taken in for questioning after the fact in possible major cases. Law Enforcement did not have or didn't feel they had enough to charge my client at the time, so by law they have to cut them loose. Once LE develops the case, I have also had to walk my client right back in to be arrested because LE developed evidence that led to the arrest. For the usual blow hards to claim it was race related that he wasn't arrest that night is just total BS. Oh and the one race of client that usually isn't allowed to walk out with me, regardless of the seriousness of the possible crime is any Hispanic. Check judicial.gov.sc and you will find that Hispanic's are arrested and held in far greater numbers than any other race. Mostly for traffic offenses that you or I would never be held on. Do an inmate search on any local dentention center, tyoe in any Hispanic name and look at the offenses then compare theirs to the other races in that same detention center.

It fits in about as much as another lame Bobby Petrino thread or another thread making fun of Clemson fans.
This was a breaking story so I felt I would share it with the board. I assume that it will eventually get relegated to the Barnyard, but I thought that posters who don't normally head over there would appreciate the info. On top of that, I titled it as an off topic thread. If you are so fed up with this "crap" why feel the need to open, read, and comment in a thread that you know deals with the Zimmerman case?
