I need excel, word and pdf attachment in e-mail ability and music is somewhat secondary.

BB Storm II is good for those purposes, but droid, iphone are much more elaborate in other areas. web browser on Storm works great(esp with bigspur)
im going today to check out the iphone. my only reservation is the fact that you cant get insurance on it. i'm very tough on phones.

I have Verizon and picked up an iphone last week. Love the phone and was able to get insurance on it for a whopping $10.99mo.

I'd recommend an android phone or an iph*ne over a blackberry.

The Samsung Galaxy S 2 is being called the best android phone ever made (engadget.com). I am also interested in seeing what the iPhone 5 has to offer.

Lost my att 16 gb iphone in vegas. They offered no insurance. Went to att and they had un upgrade deal for iphones. $300 for an 8gb iphone3 3gs or $450 for a 16gb iphone4 3gs. I asked them what my cancellation fee was since I was exactly 1 year into my contract. It was $105. I cancelled my contract went to verizon and got a 16gb iphone 4 3gs for $200 and got the insurance for $10 a month.

Agreed, have had mine for a year or so now. No complaints at all here.

I've got a Samsung galaxy and love it. Can't wait for the 2!! For business definitely a blackberry. The storm 2 is a good multi purpose phone.

I just got an iphone. It's is great in so many ways, but typing e-mails and texts on the screen sucks. Hopefully it will get easier, but right now i miss the keyboard on my BB.

I have had a Blackberry Curve, a Droid X, and an Iphone over past 6 months. Just got the iphone 2 days ago and there is really no comparison. iphone blows everything else away. Smaller than most droids, won't have to worry about viruses, and most importantly their stuff simply works. Really an amazing phone. I'm a moron for not getting one sooner.

Viruses? As long as you're not downloading porn apps on the market then android's are very safe. Use common sense and you'll be alright and don't be brainwashed by the media saying android OS is full of viruses. Have had a Droid, DroidX, and now Thunderbolt and rooted and hacked every single one of them and NEVER have had a virus. Actually if you're that paranoid i'd be more worried about what Apple AND Google are doing with your info than pity hackers.

Yes, Viruses. Never had one myself....course I used a droid for all of about 3 months. But there are more and more reports cropping up about malware infecting droids via 3rd party apps all the time. Just google it and you'll find article after article. The latest one I believe called Droid Dream....check it out. This is stuff you don't have to worry about with an iphone.

Same response Bill Gates had about MS based PC's about 10 -12 years ago.
Now, it seems the basic function of Microsoft is to send out daily security/virus patches and updates.

I love my iPhone. It seems like apple is pretty consistent in coming out with a new one every may or June so the iPhone 5 should be around the corner.
