Obama gives more to charity than other presidential candidates

  • According to this and other articles, Obama gave 14.2 percent of his 2010 income to charity compared to 13.8 for Romney, 1.8 percent for Santorum, and 2.6 percent for Gingrich.

Rick Santorum Explains His Low Rate of Charitable Giving

  • Look back at what Obama gave before he was president. You don't have to look far to find it. It was paltry. And he was banking with his books.

Funny thing, though. None of them are as stingy as Joe Biden.

  • Yeah, so charitable he's also giving all our tax money to the unions, green energy croonies, and the dead beats of america who don't want to earn a thing for themselves. How about worst president ever other than Jimmy Carter! Oh wait, they're one in the same. This is not a political board I know, but I sure as hell don't want to wake up on Sunday to someone spewing Obama garbage on my favorite gamecock site!

I totally agree with your post. Obama must go because another 4 years of his give away programs and idiotic foreign policy will be the ruin of the Republic.

  • What the article DIDN'T say was that Romney gave about 14 million to charity (most to the Mormon Church)..... that's about 9 times more than Obama made....

The idea is percentage of income.

Just thought I'd pass it along. My only point is everyone want to take shots at his personal life, but no wants to point out that he gave 14 percent of his income to charity, most of which went to help veterans and their families.

and i hate seeing the verbal spewing of an eight year old.

i would try to deconstruct your insipid paragraph, but there are so many abysmal examples of ignorance its tough to know where to start

so he gave all your tax money to unions and green energy and dead beats? you know obama cut taxes, right? taxes have not gone up under obama. unions are at their nadir, almost a dead letter, existed in stronger condition before obama. what money is obama giving unions, other than tax cuts? food stamps and unemployment are up, so it must be obama giving freebies to the dead beats.

unemployment is earned from working days. its not a give away. food stamps are, and supplement the existence of elderly folks, some of whom fought to keep your scummy ass alive and free

quit crying and acting like a poor put upon soul. obama aint dont nothing to you that wasnt already done

i am betting you adore nikki haley, ken ard and the criminal sc gop....do you sucker?

  • Joe, I think what's more pertinent is what Obama gave before he became president...before he was running for President. Don't you think? Joe Biden gives jack squat...oh, of his money, I mean.

I'm sure it was less. I know he had a lot less money, but like I said myself earlier, the idea is percentage of income.

I heard Biden gave something like 300 dollars total in 2010? Pretty weak.
