right now i am enjoying a book on the married life of abe lincoln & mary todd.

it has been some time since i spent much time on abe's life, not just the war. strange man, and his wife was equally odd.

she, more than once, expressed a desire to marry a president, this before she met lincoln. i am finding mary more and more interesting. abe is almost inscrutable

Least we be accused of being inscrutable, it means incomprehensible; mysterious or enigmatic sort of like Black Death
