I've heard that about tomato juice. Good idea on the vodka. I've also heard beer and tomato juice is a wonderful match.

When I lived in San Antonio that concoction was known as a Michelada. It is the mexican variation of our Blood Mary, known for its medicinal properties as a remedy for a "hangover".

True, the story may be long - however you have left out the one integral detail central to the thread - how you came to know this crap is terrible....was it your typical dead shrunk in the middle of the road - or something more innocuous such as you lost your glasses and thought you were petting the family cat which turned out to be a skunk?
