Various items from Monday after the Masters

  • I go to the Monday after the Masters event most years and wanted to share some Gamecock related tidbits with The Big Spur

    - I spoke to Bret Saberhagen to find out if he went to see his son pitch this past weekend against the Cocks. He went on Saturday and Sunday and raved about Carolina Stadium.

    - Saw TBS favorite Corey Miller. I don't like Corey for personal reasons so I avoided him.

    - Ric Flair is a regular at this event and posed for a picture (below - sideways for some reason). Showed off his hall of fame rings.

    - Saw Sterling. Didn't talk to him, but he didn't talk to me either so he must be a jerk. FTR, he was sporting garnet & black.

    - Big George is the best Gamecock ambassador ever.

    - Ryan Succop gave us a "Go Cocks!" and fist bumps.
