I'm going with Pitbull. His lyrics are awful. The stupid "let's have a real good time" commercial, and the beginning of the give me everything song where his lyrics are "look at me in Times Square, take a picture of that with a Kodak"

What are the parameters? Do they only need be a one hit wonder? Or do they need to have multiple hits? I'm a pretty poor rapper, but I doubt that's what you're looking for. I'd lean towards Shaq or Vanilla Ice

Great question. I wouldn't say multiple hits but I think it is fair to say that people who socially listen to rap music (i.e., out at a bar or club but not at home or in a car) should have an idea of the person's most famous song, even of they don't know the artist. For example, an answer of "the guy who sang the song that ..." would be acceptable.
If you post a rap video on YouTube and link it ITT, you would be included in the class of rappers being discussed.
