For the better part of a decade, Tony Morrell has been the authority on Gamecock football and recruiting. He answers your questions every weekday in the Ask Tony thread.
Tony - Was that one heck of a game or what? Stupid question I know. I would like to know if you think that the way in which we won will have an impact with recruits and help to offset some of the negative recruiting where coaches tell recruits we are just a flash in the pan program. Will this help to show we have staying power?
When are coaches allowed to talk to recruits again?

Tony, what did Ace do to get a penalty after the long td catch?
Do you expect any reprimand for the official and the first down incident? Bad spots happen all the time but that wasn't an issue about a spot. It was a lack of knowledge or blatantly screwing up. He signaled first down before looking. Thanks
Diggs - I know camera angles can be funny, but when he was standing next to Connor Shaw he looked shorter. Shaw is not tall! Is he at least 6ft? How tall is he?
I know it won happen, but is Shell capable of being a good RG? It would really open up a bunch of possibilites if he could. If he cant - Could Zandi? or a healthy Matulas? Seems we have a good bunch of young tackles, and need a little help inside.
Nick Jones, D Thompson, JT Suratt, C Robinson, J Legree all came out of nowhere to be very solid contributors this year, and I feel fairly confident that we would not have won 11 games this year without them. At this time last after the Nebraska win year nobody (and I mean nobody) gave these guys much of a chance to be contributors this year. I know your going to say I have to wait until I see them if spring practice, etc....but just for fun, who are the out of nowhere guys for next year.
Call me crazy, but I really think next year is the year we see the OL step forward, and I think the DL will be very good again. Against a easier schedule, I agree with you that we could have another very good year next year.
Great and exciting win yesterday. Did you see ESPN Magazine's issue titled the Next? In it, they highlighted potential future NFL greats. Top five, Andrew Luck, RGIII, A.J. Green, Johnny Manziel and Jadeveon Clowney (with 5% of the vote).
Two questions, how could 95% of the people be wrong and can this help recruiting efforts?
