Everett Golson was probably the best looking high school quarterback I ever saw. Why didn't either instate school go after him?

With the reports coming out that Dooley is out and the fact that about everyone knew his days were numbered prior to the season, why did Jay Graham decide to jump on that sinking ship?

I was able to play golf with him at one of the gamecock events in the summer prior to his last season here. We asked him about Tenn and dooley and he was telling us how dooley was a terrible coach and he wasnt going to be there much longer. I know he was probably telling us what we wanted to hear to some degree, but it was a real head stracher that he decided to go there when the prospects beyond the 2012 season that the staff would be there would be doubtful.
