Do you know what Shaw ran the 40 in the last time they tested? To me his effectiveness as a running QB is tied more to his acceleration/quickness to the edge than his top-end speed, however he "looks" fast in the open field (Aub '10 in SECCG, Citadel '11, Mizzou '12). My guess would be he is sub 4.6...
1a. our starting dline vs. lsu's, who do you take?
1b. our entire dline vs. lsu's, who do you take?
2. shaw's underthrows, arm strength limit reached, or correctable? i believe he's stepped into the pocket on all of his underthrows and the ball has a low trajectory which makes me lean towards arm strength.
3. when will mike davis be used as a change of pace back?
2013 SEC Championship Game: USC v LSU
Thanks for Spurnotes - understand on JT Suratt, and you could see it the last few games. But to me, we need lots of depth at LSU, and having all 4 tackles would be optimal. Are the trainers optimistic he will play? Is it 50/50? better?
C Robinson, J Legree, JT Suratt - what a difference a year makes. Who saw that coming? I have always preached that players develop at different paces, and dont give up on kids - general comments on this?
Maybe I am in the minority, but I would think that with SOS's experience, he will know exactly how to keep this team even keel, not listening to how good they are, focused, etc...I dont know what will happen then next 2 weeks, although I believe we are capable of going 2-0, but I expect that the team will be prepared, focused, etc...comments?
1) 14 Points scored against LSU.
2) 100 rushing yards for Lattimore.
3) 10 Points allowed against LSU.
Over/Under vs LSU
40 total rushes for Shaw/Latti/Miles
3 sacks for our DEF
Is the Griffin situation similar to what happened with Geathers a few years ago in that Geathers wanted to play for us and we said no thanks or did he flat out choose UGA over us. I know Geathers never actually committed to us but I seem to remember we weren't really interested in him.
Will we push for Bryant now that Griffin has committed at DT or are the numbers just too tight?
