Sunday through Friday, I logically work out the explanation of Connor Shaw's golden rule of "No one open, run" philosophy. He is under the impression that he would rather run back to the line of scrimmage is better than throwing an incomplete. Same result, without the risk of turnover. It makes sense, and sometimes he springs, a couple of yards. Then game time comes, and I find myself screaming,"THROW IT AWAY!" This past weekend he took a sack, which really hurt, and then threw a bad ball which got picked at a pivotal moment in the game. I guess I am fickled, but I would like to see better descisions. Am I way off base?
Will Jerrell Adams playing time increase from here on out?
In your opinion, what are the "physicality" differences in LSU and UF? LSU seems so much more physically dominant than any other team I've seen this year (including Alabama). Do we match up better against Florida in the trenches than we did against LSU?
I seem to remember you saying Shaw Elliott prefers the zone read more than the I formation. Do you know which formation SOS and Jr prefer. It just seems like we have more success out of the I and was hoping we might see more of it. Can you pull out your crystal ball and tell me what you expect to see more of the rest of the season?
