I just read an article about Langley's visit to UGA and some of the things he was saying. Have you read that article yet? He sure seemed to really enjoy his visit and they offered him a spot on the basketball team which he loves. What do you know about his commitment level to helping the Gamecocks win a championship?
This stood out to me:“The relationship with the South Carolina coaches is very healthy,” Langley said. “Even if I was to decommit, I would still remain friends with them.”
A few questions that I cannot believe havent been asked-
-Have you seen the video of the trainer checking out Bruuuuuuuuuce? if so, is that what ard looks like at practice?
-Do you think he will go on an official visit?
-Is he on commitment watch?
-I know you're not a percentage guy , but do you "like his chances"?
is there really an issue with the OLine? Have the first game starters just not played well enough to fend off the competition with the backups? I thought the substitutions during ECU and UAB were done moreso because the game was out of reach and they wanted to get some guys some reps to see what they could do.
Liking to think Im pretty ingrained with all about football to a point, I think having a full week of practice in lead up to a game is invaluale for a prospective player or Quarteback more specifically. Not having meaningful practice snaps with an injury to a shoulder(which is a must part of the body obviously for a QB) is devistating and I believe is one reason why you saw the lack of zip on the ball from Shaw to start the game out, no doubt accompanied by some discomfort Im sure.
I honestly look for Shaw to come out with a lot more confidence and game control and more zip on the ball this Saturday due to having a full week of practice under his belt. Do you believe in your opinion we will see this? Or do you believe it is more related to his injury that we have seen the sloppy stuff we did to start the game last week?
With that said Thompson does bring a differnt skill set and I am taking nothing away from him being a huge asset and performer for this team the last two weeks. I think they are both great options in different lights. Shaw just brings another aspect that defenses have to defend with this legs.
What's the status of Missouri's OL - Last I saw they had a couple of guys injured and a couple of guys playing out of position. Do you know if they have gotten anyone back or seen any improvement?
