I don't remember if I upvoted you for this or not mpcoan but if not, your reply was hilarious.

My God this thing keeps getting bumped lol

We should bury this thread in a time capsule, have our grandchildren dig it up in 30 years and study it. They would learn SO much!

It sets up for Saturday a makevellian mutt and Jeff with Spurrier playing mutt and Patrino playing Jeff. Gamecock secondary is a draconian cartoon, with Spurrier playing yo simmitee Sam and the sendory playing the little engine that could. With great players in the secondary but playing very poorly sets up one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of college football. PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN, Randall Cobb eating a bologne sandwhich 15 yards behind everyone waiting on the ball to come to him. Those that wish can defend the defensless, but they cannot defend a secondary the has entered the twighlight zone.

Talk about starting with a bang. Who didn't know that this would be the start of such a special two month long thread?!?!!?

Now, when he screamed, "PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN," do you think he had already confused himself?!!?!

You mean everything was right except Arky came in and ran all over us, right? 4 rush TDs, 3 from the emergence of Knile Davis. Not quite what you predicted, Nostrodomis. Keep choaching.

  • I finally got a chance to read through the entire thread...wow.

Was there ever any clarification on who or what a DA is? I didn't see it anywhere in the thread at all, but I think there might be a reference to a DA BLOGGER somewhere?

Mallett wasted little time torching the Gamecocks secondary. He went 3 of 4 for Mallet had 50 yards on the Razorbacks opening drive, ending with Hamilton's touchdown.
In the second quarter, Mallett launched a 57-yard throw to a falling Jarius Wright -- he easily got behind cornerback C.C. Whitlock -- to set up Davis' first rushing TD from 2 yards out. What other interesting stats do you wanna throw out there stat boy? There's no doubt after they got a comfortable lead they ran it down our throats. That doesn't change the fact that Mallet could go where ever and when ever he wanted to with the ball. But thanks for the update Erin!

as resident interpreter here at the big spur, i believe Choach uses DA instead of spelling out dumb ass. The abbreviation came about when he could not spell the plural form of dumb ass; thus DA's were born.
