I really do hate to say it because he is a Great Gamecock and has done many good things but th boy kills more rallies than any player I have ever seen

Does not matter...you can't hit the can o' corn double play ground ball there. Momentum killer.

I was up, excited, pacing. After Matthews did that it just completely flattened it. Complete energy killer. And we keep putting their first on base, while our first keeps going down.

His double play completely flipped the momentum and obviously killed us. Baxendale is now rolling and that play is the main reason. 2 runs may as well be 100 runs. I think a lot of matthews' mistakes are mental.
