Adams and Roland

  • Smile GC fans. These two are studs and I'm venturing to guess will be a big part of the O.

Adams may be the answer as a receiver. Freak size and speed. I was shocked.

Roland is smooth, fast, and more athletic than any WR on roster. Made some highlight catches.

  • Thanks Flo. Was Adams only @ TE?

  • DL Moore had a great day also.

He is a TE not a WR.

He will be running routes though from the TE position as most TE's usually do. I think OP meant to say he was a legit receiving threat from his TE position; very fluid and catches very well and more importantly can catch the ball in traffic and take the hit.

  • I'm starting to think I'm really liking that our Ga. game got moved, as these two guys will have a chance to get into a good flow and will be hard for the Ga. D to handle.

Moore did look good...Roland is the real deal...needs to put on a few lbs but he is already good. Adams is going to be a mismatch for just about anyone...great athlete.
    Lattimore looked like....Lattimore!

He could split out and play as a WR essentially, though. After today, I think he could line up in the shotgun and throw a 30 yard pass to himself. The kid is really talented and has the tools and athleticism to do it all. What a weapon.

I saw him play a few times in high school. That is essentially what he did as the Scott's Branch QB. He was the whole show there, and won a state championship (and played for another) at a place that I'm not sure had ever won a game before he came along.

Comin from a normally irritable pessimist like Flobird... This is an awesome thing to hear. To say you are not a sunshine pumper would be a massive understatement, lol! They must've looked amazing then. In all seriousness though... Thanks for the report. That was a VERY good thing to hear about a position of concern heading into the season.
