Advice needed please: Can you get Outback tx, outside of stadium

  • is scalping allowed? Is it a tough ticket? Thank you in advance.

  • i would highly suggest scalping them before the game. you couldn't give away tickets to the cap 1 bowl game last year right before kickoff.

  • Will be a ton of tickets outside the stadium, be easy to pick-up tickets on the cheap.

  • I gave the guy taking tickets 2 extras in 2002 because I couldn't find anyone to buy them.

    Non-factor, bowl game tickets are always plentiful unless you are looking at the national title game.

  • I plan on picking them up the day of the game. I feel somewhat guilty for not getting the ones through the school, but they get enough of my money as it is.

  • HERE'S THE PROBLEM WITH BUYING FROM SCALPERS OUTSIDE THE STADIUM.

    Counterfeit tickets... and don't even begin to think you'll be able to tell the difference. Why would you buy from a scalper instead of just ordering tickets now? There are still tickets available through TicketMaster for face value and 2,400 tickets on StubHub. A friend of mine bought fake tickets TWICE at the Peach Bowl a couple of years ago when climpsun was there, hologram and all.

    I figured out a long time ago that when go to bowl games, the best thing you can do is buy tickets either from the University or buy from StubHub or other reputable dealer.
    .
    I'm gonna spend about $1,000 on this trip so why would I not spend an extra $15 to $25 per ticket to get some good seats?

    Take his picture, take a picture of his driver's license. If he flinches or won't let you... move on. There are plenty of legit folks selling tickets outside.

    Maybe your friend was just dumb, or just had really bad luck. Buying tix outside the stadium has worked for tons of people for years.

  • We couldn't scalp in 08 because half the stadium was empty. We ended up paying face at the gate. There were no scalpers because of such a poor turnout. The line to buy tickets was insane because everyone had waited to buy from scalpers. Last year in Orlando it was easy to scalp. I honestly think the more USC fans that go the easier to scalp.

    Sure... scalping has worked for years. Just ask the UGA guy that parked beside me thst paid $200 for a worthless piece of paper.

    did he take the scalper's picture, and a picture of the scalper's drivers license? If not, I don't feel bad for him. There are cheaters and liars out there. People need to take responsibility for not being burned.

    Let me enlighten you a little, the counterfeiters are not going to waste their time on a small bowl where seats are going for half price, they pick games where demand is big and they can turn them quickly and move on. You actually have a change to pick your seats when buying on the street other than what the school assigns you and you save money to boot.

    Think Arkansas game this year....probably easier if that's possible.

    Assuming I go, If I don't sit between the 40s, nice lower level row, for a good bit less than face and I have invested more than five minutes achieving this(walking from car and/or tailgate to the stadium)...I've pulled an epic FAIL for this game.
