After Shaq Wilson got knocked down

  • Did you guys see the guy come stand over him and talk trash. He had to be at least 55. Classless.

Probably the same prick who elbowed the young girl after the GT game.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's their strength and conditioning coach

  • Joey Batson? He cried every day at the Citadel until his momma let him transfer to Newberry

    willybcock

  • It's the bald guy. In the 1st photo he is walking towards Shaq talking trash the entire time. In the second he is standing there still talking. On the play before this, Coach Elliott helped Sammy Watkins to his feet and patted his helmet. Quite a contrast in behavior.

  • Yes, please play it back and do a screen shot to see if that's Batson. He's going to get fired anyway after the season IMO

    Metcock

  • I'll be surprised if that's Batson, just doesn't look big enough.Batson used to powerlift in the 275 lb. division back 25 years ago, and the guy in that pic looks like he couldn't carry MI6's jock.

  • Also try listening carefully. It sounds like someone is saying, "65-38, punk ... Learn a history lesson," or something like that. I laughed.

That's Dalton Freeman, as he walked by the official with the microphone on. It's real funny considering Clemson is supposed to be math-strong, and he got the #'s wrong. It was 65-39, and the countdown to 40 was closing fast by that point, assumed even.

    RoosterCockburn

  • Pray to God that wasn't Freeman isn't that loser partly responsible for 3 of those beat downs in the loss column? Talking trash as a Clemson player at 0-3 against SC should get you kicked out of school up there lol!

    kc4usc

  • tell dalton he can thank fat brad for the 0-3 record, you picked the wrong school son

    rooster tail

  • Perfect. We're in their head now. An active player falling back on ancient history instead of concerning himself with his own (lack of) contribution to the history. They are a looooong way from beating us anytime soon with that mentaility. Beautiful.

That is funny. You know they've sunk to a low point when the players themselves are dusting off the history books.

    You mean Sammy Dropkins.

  • This may sound contradictory but I thought the play was perfectly within the rules but borderline dirty.

He will be crying again at the end of the season when he is unemployed. And, Momma won't be able to bail him out this time. Suck it, Tater!

Nothing illegal about the hit. Shaq got rocked, though.

That is priceless. Watched the replay (okay! five times), I didn't realize it was a player.

When a player starts spouting history of the series while he is on the field AND when he is about to lose his third in a row....well, it don't get much better than that.

    That is just fantastic.

  • I don't think that was Freeman talking trash. He's looking at the official waiting on the call and it doesn't appear he's saying anything. At least not as emphatic as it sounds. No head movement, etc.

  • It's all just like Stevie Johnson's antics Sunday in a LOSS, Brandon Jacobs last night for the Giants, doing all that grandstanding after a meaningless TD when they were getting jackhammered by the Saints, and this guy on the Tater staff. What do they all have in common? Losers in life, and losers in all 3 of these games. Add this in with the things posted in the "Reasons I hate Clemson" thread. What's funny is, IF this guy ever played football, he was far more likely to have been on the receiving end of blocks like that, than the giving end of them, yet he stands over one of ours like he's done something? He, Dalton Freeman "History professor," Colonel (or whatever his rank was) Cloy and all his slander towards USC when Mason signed with the Taters, etc. can all get bent. We're in the here and now, where the Taters simply aren't nearly as good as they try so hard to believe. Scoreboard gentlesheep...SCOREBOARD.

Wealth is the product of man's capacity to think. There are no evil thoughts except one: The refusal to think.

  • I don't know if Freeman said anything or not, but there is no excuse for someone in their 50s in a coaching capacity to stand over a college kid and talk smack like that.

In the frame, you can see the bald headed guy moving towards Shaq... I assumed he was about to help him up but the camera cuts away. I wish we could confirm it was him. I'll call and email every show on wccp and raise hell over this to cause even more embarrassment for them.
