After WB, Name Your Favorite College Stadium

For me it is easily Doak Campbell at FSU. It is just awesome looking. Now, I've never visited, and it might be that the seats are small like at Tenn, but I love the brick. I really wish my Gamecocks played in an aesthetically cool building like that.

I have. Arky has the best.
A lot of people love Florida's. Very pedestrian. Like the campus,all brick with little character.

Jordan-Hare Stadium. Very intimidating atmosphere. I love the War Eagle flying to mid-field before kick-off. Its on-campus, just a great venue.

LSU isnt bad
Tennessee is cool but the seats are built for toddlers
But by far, the worst was the dump known as Starkville

Sanford. Love how much of it is below ground. Also, the lower bowl allows no wasted space, so the upper decks are closer.

The ones I've been to:
Atmosphere: LSU. Not even a close second place.
Facilities: Bryant-Denny
In the opposite category; if there's a bigger sh*thole than Legion Field I haven't seen it.

I'm going with two different posters here.
Game Atmosphere: LSU
Facilities: Bama
Total Weekend: Auburn
Personally, I think Auburn is the best of all. The Stadium is fantastic. Very loud. I love that it is on campus. And the the campus town has lots to do. What many tailgaters don't see is the number of people that camp the entire weekend. It is insane the number of people they have that bring their motorhomes, trailers, campers to camp in (on campus) for the entire weekend.

Went to a game at Wisconsin-Madison against UNC of all teams. Don't remember too much about the stadium, but the student section was the craziest thing I have ever seen. How you organize 4 sections of students at a football game is beyond me. Jump Around was just the icing on the cake. Too bad it is cold as hell up there.

Bryant Denny for me. Facilities are amazing. Really like Jordan Hare as well. Never been to Baton Rouge. Plan to take my first trip there this fall.

Sanford. It has the best tailgating setup, the stadium itself is very nice, and there is some great damn scenery. I was fortunate enough to sit in a box this year and the entire setup from catering, to sight lines, to the staff and security were top notch. It is the perfect on-campus stadium.

Sanford Stadium is by far my favorite atmosphere for the overall experience. UGA has a beautiful campus and downtown Athens is also a very attractive area to visit. On top of that it is also a real easy drive from Columbia.

Ditto.... Auburn was awesome and had nothing but good times with the Auburn faithful. It's smack in the middle of the school and it's a great atmosphere.
I would list Athens as second, but it's always so damn hot that it's unbearable with NO BREEZE.
UK is friendliest.
Neyland Stadium in Knoxville SUCKS BIG TIME, but the tailgating is over the top and probably the best next to....'
Ole Miss >>>>>THE GROVE<<<<< can't be beat... no doubt just for the babelicous scenery if nothing else.

Auburn and Alabama are 1 and 1-A. Auburn being the best total weekend experience. Been to all SEC stadiums minus LSU and Arky. I'll know about LSU next year.

I have attended football games at:
-- Sanford Stadium (Georgia)
-- Neyland Stadium (Tennessee)
-- The real Death Valley (LSU)
-- Commonwealth Stadium (Kentucky)
-- Dearth Valley, also known as Memories Stadium (Clemson)
-- Paladin Stadium (Furman)
-- Kenan Stadium (UNC-Chapel Hill)
-- Bobby Dodd Stadium (Georgia Tech)
-- Carter/Finley Stadium (NC State)
-- Groves Stadium (Wake Forest)
The prettiest is UNC, in a valley surrounded by towering oak trees. The most impressive atmosphere is LSU, where the noise level is beyond crazy.
But my overall favorite, from a combined standpoint of pretty surroundings, atmosphere and comfort, is Georgia. Of course, it's much better when we win there.
