Wow. He PLAYS much faster.

I would bet the biggest steak in town that our defense will miss Allen as much as Ingram, I hope Coach Ward and Coach Botkin can find a suitable replacement. He blanketed a couple of potential NFL caliber tight ends in Charles and Allen and was all around as fundamentally sound as any player on the team - tackling, coverage/assignments - think I heard or read post season that he was in the top five of more defensive categories than any other player in the SEC - four of five times in bowl game had a tackle for no or minimal gain, that if he had missed could have gone for ten or fifteen yards. Did it in a humble manner, w/out a lot of fanfare/publicity, wish this young man all the success in the NFL.

The major attribute of Allen is his instincts..If you look closely at his play, you will see before the ball was snapped, he could sense where the play was going and already be in motion to a spot on the field ...Thats the main reason he looked much faster and had such good ball skills...Thats a skill a player has or not, and can make up for a lack of great closing speed.

No doubt Antonio will be missed. I will NEVER forget his INT that he took to the hizzy against UGA. HUGE.
