I don't understand it either, pleasework. I have been ranting about it for days.

Here are some receivers that will in all likelyhood go ahead of him:

Michael Floyd- A perrenial whiner and Alcoholic in- a sure thing to get arrested in his rookie season. Besides that, his skills as a WR are not in the same ballpark as Alshon.

Kendall Wright- a diminutive 5'10" WR who ran a smoking 4.65 40 at the combine. They say he is a deep threat.(wtf????)

Stephen Hill- a reciever in the high flying Ga Tech triple option offense, who can beat most recievers in the 200m, the long jump, and triple jump. He should definitely help an NFL team if they want to compete in the london olympics. How that equates to football skill is beyond me.

D Rosenhaus, should tell u all u need to know. He is a moron.

Are you serious. Isn't Rosenhaus TO's former agent. What in the hell was he thinking talking Alshon out of working out. Damn do we know who Melvin and Stephon went with. After watching Floyd and some of the other WR's get picked I feel for Alshon.

I think Alshon hurt himself the most by getting down to 213 because it proved that he played overweight and validated a lot of scouts and the media's opinion. Had he come to proday at 225 and ran a 4.5 he would have been drafted yesterday. In this case, I believe the hard work actually backfired on him.......he was never being drafted as a 213 pound WR, he was being drafted as a big bodied, fast WR with great hands and body control---he has never played at 213 so that actually created more questions than answers and also validated a lot of people's negative opinions. He will still be a great WR in the NFL and will make a lot of money, but needs to stay healthy for a year or two now more than ever.

If SOS controlled the draft, why wasn't MI6 taken # 1? Don't put too much stock in what a college coach thinks. AJ played great for USC. Too much analysis on weight. Many of us saw every game AJ played. Great players make great plays, like the catch vs Nebraska. Poor QB play early hurt him. Lat getting hurt didn't help him. He will be a star in the NFL. My best memory will be that things happened outside his control this year to hurt his draft stock, yet he never complained, never was selfish. Thanks AJ! Go make those who doubt you eat their words.
