Another name for ST's Jon Fabris

At one time was considered one of the best. He was fired at UGA last year, I believe he was here under Holtz his 1st year.

NO NO NO... The guy once stopped practice to tell the D about the rats in the New York sub system and how they had become genetically altered over time. No one was sure if his point was that practice worked to shape player abilities or if they should avoid the NYC subway. He was a space cadet and not that solid of a coach. Coach Strong could not stand him so that has to tell you something given the way he gets along with just about everyone.

He certainly wasn't considered the best when he was here. Our Special Teams were god awful under him.

Also, when he went to UGA he said something to the effect that he would eat his shoes if UGA ever lost to SC.
Holtz then beat UGA in back to back seasons.
Not sure I ever heard how those shoes tasted?

I remember him being kind of a weirdo when he was here. Didn't he light his shoes on fire after a loss, or something odd like that? Having said that, I thought UGA has had solid st's under him.

I am not sure where I went to school has anything to do with this... but... anyone who was around when that guy was here... would say no. As for the new coach... I will leave that up to Spurrier as he knows alot more about evaulating coaches than I will ever know. As for my dislike for Fabris... I guess it stems from him being here one single year and leaving for a division rival of ours where he spent a long time before last year.
