When I saw Goose Creek on tv against Cane Bay, I nor anybody else that watched the game with were impressed with them. Terry, eh. Kinlaw, not elite at all. Lb committed to Carolina, needs coaching, which will make him better, but has great size and athleticism.

Let the Patterson thing go, but again for those who said he isn't any good or average, have no idea what they are talking about and should just watch the games and not try to critique a player.

He's talented as hell. I agree. He is electric with the ball in his hands. He is a phenomenal Kick returner.

To date, he hasn't shown that he can run routes as well as he needs to and get open any more than other players. Hunter and the other kid on UT are better pure receivers. I do just watch the games. I greatly respect your opinion. All I am saying is he is not the superstar that folks claim. He has superstar talent, but he is not yet a superstar. His numbers just do not back that up and he plays in a very good passing offense.

He was averaging 45 yards a game receiving before the Troy game. He did have 200 yards receiving in the troy game which boosted his average to 63 yards per game.

Again, I never said he was a poor player. I said he isn't the pure receiver yet some are making him out to be. Maybe Troy wasn't an abberation because it's Troy. Maybe it is a sign he's figuring things out. His numbers as a receiver prior to that Troy game were extremely average.

I watched him closely in our game. He wasn't able to get open nearly as easily as other receivers on UTs team.

Maybe I wasn't clear. Is the kid ridiculously talented and good with the ball in his hands? Absolutely! Is he a great receiver at this point? Other than the Troy and NC State games (he had 90 yards receiving in that one), I haven't seen it.
