Appearing that Lance Armstrong is this year's Penn State

- after Joe Pa - another major fall from grace. Read Dan Wetzel's column in the NY Daily News - regarding the people he
ruined or tried to ruin - I am sure in his mind it was in the name of cancer research - but sure smells like protecting the Armstrong
brand. Really sad - nd cycling looks like it is about as clean as the African -American studies program at Chapel Hill.

No. There were some on here still claiming that there wAs no proof of his doping and believing his lies. Someone couldnt br that Stupid. Right up there with bonds and clemens, no doubt theyvall doped- they surely arent the only ones.

Lance has probbaly saved hundreds of thousands of lives through Livestrong here and abroad. Protecting molestation is not even in the same universe as doping oneself.

Livestrong doesn't fund research anymore so their mission hasnt really saved lives. They are for support for those that have cancer. That's still a great thing. Livestrong is great, but the man at the forefront of it is a sham.

He approached Oprah. I think most people had moved past this fraud until he brought it back to light.
He is about to turn witness on other folks in an effort to get some concessions from the international body and the confession there requires that he try and clean up the PR as best as he can...and who better than Oprah to help him with that?

How about Penn State involved a pedophile using university property for years as his grooming grounds and the university was aware but turned a blind eye.
Lanxe's lies about PEDs and generally being an ass to others who were accused of PEDs and/or threatened to blow his cover is no where near the magnitude of Penn State.

This is no way compares to Penn State. It's best to own your mistake. IMO you think that you are protecting yourself from judgement, shame or pain but in the long run the truth always comes out.
