Baseball America Picks Florida To Win Today

Baseball ACC America says the Gators have seen Roth enough to beat him up. Fitt did soften his prediction with a comment that the Gamecocks will probably make him look like a fool again. To their credit they also predict the teams will play 3 games, meaning the loser today will fight back to a final winner take all scenario.
No doubt Florida is probably the most talented team in the tourney. No doubt we have talent at that level too, and are the best coached.
It's a shame the NCAA bunched the SEC teams into the same bracket. FSU doesn't have swagger in the other bracket, they are just full of themselves. Arizona meanwhile beat them like the blue collar team they are. Baseball ACC America picked FSU yesterday. Let's hope they're wrong again. Two great teams going at it and I give it a 50/50 but ...
They forgot to mention Reptar. He's the X factor. I say Cocks win game one.

This is the same publication that chose Florida coach Kevin O'Sullivan as their national coach of the year last season even though he had what was generally considered the most talent in America and managed to be swept by us in the CWS.
When asked about it, their college baseball editor responded that Ray had won it so often they wanted to spread the honor around.

Affirmative action in choosing coach of the year? Good thought.
My guess is it has more to do with being based in Durham, NC and having a chip on their shoulder about our domination.

People brag about being blocked on tigernet, well I was blocked by aaron fitt on twitter 2 years ago. I gave him a hard tine about how he must hate to have to keep covering a mediocre team in SC. He scolded me by PM and them blocked me. That publication is a joke, I'll take perfect game.

It just amazes me that so called "experts" only look at talent to rank baseball teams. 9 times out of 10 the winner has the best TEAM not necessarily the best and most talent. These experts one day will either get it or no longer be experts.
